Techark hosting 8 years review: as good as 1st year.

Eight years ago, I started to look for a hosting provider and Webhostingtalk helped me the best to make my decision. As you'll see, the election has been great and I think I have to give something in return. So, after my first year review, here is my 8 years review about Techark hosting. Why now? Well, i just had a little problem and they just solved it as always: perfect in no time. It was a reminder about this well deserved compliment. First thing, 8 years ago resellershosting.net was a second brand of Techark to sell reseller accounts. But after some time (can't remember exactly when) they decided to unify their offer in their main website under the same brand: techark.com It has been a long time, and life took me in different way than I thought then. So i'm still a very little customer with a handful domains under a reseller account. My profile is mainly the same it was. First: here you have the cold statistics from the whole 8 years. Number of tickets opened: 14. Succesfully solved: 14 Major outages: 1 (the day server blowed up) High priority tickets (critical to me): 2 Medium priority: 5 Low priority: 7 At least eight ticket issues were my fault. Another two were information or general help requests. The high priority tickets were about mail server accounts caused by a glitch in Cpanel. Average time to first answer: 19 minutes. Average time to be solved: 1 hour. I feel this data is a little unfair cause they needed some reply from my part and I'd took some time to answer. Total average first response time: 19 min. There was only one time with a low priority question that they took 91 minutes to answer, probably that day they had some problems too. If I forget that day, the average time to first response has been 10 minutes. Last ticket priority: low. Time to be answered and succesfully closed: 1 min. 48 seconds. Please, keep in mind that i'm in Spain. That means that i have usually opened tickets during spanish day. That is the australian or northamerican night. No major downtime except the day the server crashed. That day they needed time to install a new server and recover all the content. But i don't remember how many time they needed I guess it was 3-4 hours. A couple of times there were minor downtimes caused by datacenter updates. Which give a 99,994 uptime. My subjective review: They are a 9/10. (hey, nobody's perfect) =^_^=. I'm a loyal and happy customer and I recomend them to anyone. Last edited by Argos23; 09-29-2012 at 01:53 PM.
